Our last show….for now!
Hi Everyone,
First…thanks so much for all the feedback you all are giving me on the show. I’m so glad you are all watching and enjoying it. And for those of you who can’t see it because you are not in the U.S., call FOX Television at 313-369-1000 and tell them you want to see the show broadcast in your country!!! I just got back from London and everyone there was asking about it too. We are going to find out next week if we are getting picked up for a full season. The show is doing so well. We knew it was going to go over well but hey, we’re doing even better than expected so we are feeling really good about being here for a long run. We were #1 in our 8:30 time slot and then ratings went even higher when we were moved to 9:30. So now we are #1 at 9:30 and we’ve blown everyone at the networks minds with our ratings…things look really good…..cross your fingers for us!!!! Apparently we are going to find out next week! I’ll let you know as soon as I get word.
We are filming episode 6 today. It’s really fun to be here with everyone…cast and crew are so great, I don’t want it to end because we are just starting to catch our stride and are becoming great friends! Well, back to rehearsal! Here are some pictures from the filming of episode 5…..bet you didn’t know that I could knit did you.

I love the show Stacked. Please don't go away! There are endless possibilities with a show in a book store where a meeting of different minds impart wisdom upon one another. It explores stereotypes and explodes them. "You can't judge a book by its cover girl" Skylar a beautiful and wise blond not one you normally expect to work in a book store. Pamela Anderson is an amazingly multi faceted woman that is stereotyped as just a pretty face in real life. But in reality she is an author, a designer, a practicing musician (I would love to see Pamela play her own music), a loving single mother who schedules work around the schedules of her children, a PETA spokeswoman, and a MAC model. I think we have just seen a little of what Pamela really is and this show shows a glimpse of the real Renaissance woman Pamela Anderson really is. This concept of exploring stereotypes and exploding them can be taken a bit further with the other characters on the show. Imagine where people are not judged on how they look, what strata of society they are from, with no gender biases or preconceptions, what clique they belong to, with no racial stereotypes. What is a book store? Different views, different worlds, different genres, history records, information passed along, different philosophies, poetry, children's books, the literary canon and the not so literary canon all coexist in a single place. We see new worlds and our own world in different views with different minds. Entertainment, Educational and Enlightening. We need more of this in our everyday lives everyday.

I just discovered this Blog but I began a thread about the show in mid-April:
"Stacked!!" http://forum.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=messageboard.viewThread&EntryID=268171&categoryID=90
The show's renewal pleases me. You have a talented ensemble and a funny program:)

Pamela Anderson. Quite simply, she is an icon. There is not a room on this entire continent wherein you could not utter the name, and receive a number of responses form Beautiful to bimbo to movie star to author - the list is actually quite long. I have never seen stacked, but I am happy for you that it is doing well. I just wanted to drop a line to say that I think it is great that you keep such a grass roots connection with your fanbase via Freindster. I hope that STACKED gets picked up for years to come.
